FAQ FIGHTER CAMPS

Q: Do I need to have competed before to join a fight camp?

A: Not necessarily. We assess every athlete individually. If you have solid training experience and the right mindset, we can prepare you for your first fight. Our coaches will be honest with you about your readiness.

Q: How long should my fight camp be?

A: We recommend a minimum of 4 weeks for a fight camp. 6–8 weeks is ideal for full preparation, including sparring build-up, weight management, and peak conditioning. We can work around your timeline.

Q: Can I actually fight in Thailand during my camp?

A: Yes. We have connections with local promotions in Bangkok and can arrange fights for eligible athletes. This is one of the most unique aspects of training at WKK Gym.

Q: What is Hypoxic Altitude Training and do I need it?

A: Hypoxic training simulates high-altitude conditions to push your cardiovascular system beyond its normal limits — used by elite athletes worldwide. It is optional but highly recommended for fighters serious about peak performance.

Q: What does a typical fight camp day look like?

A: Morning session — roadwork, pad work, technique. Afternoon session — sparring, clinch, conditioning. Rest and recovery in between. Your schedule is built around your fight date and current fitness level.

Q: Is accommodation included in fight camp packages?

A: Yes. All our camp packages include the option to stay in the WKK Gym Neighbourhood, our private residential complex next to the gym.
